Silver Q Partners was founded by a team of seasoned and successful marketing professionals, all of whom have extensive hedge fund experience. The founding partners emphasize the quality and professionalism of the marketing process and believe that it is crucial to a successful fundraising effort. Our collective skills and team approach provide a solid foundation upon which we cultivate collaborative relationships with our Hedge Fund clients.

Jason Okie

Jason is the founding Managing partner of Silver Q Partners. Prior to forming Silver Q Partners, Mr. Okie successfully marketed hedge funds to Institutions and family offices over the past decade. Before he started to market hedge funds in 1996, Mr. Okie worked for Barclays de Zoete Wedd where he was an Institutional Futures Broker in N.Y., London and Frankfurt. His clients included leading hedge fund firms on all global futures exchanges in Europe, Asia Pacific and the U.S.

Jason attended Ithaca College where he received a B.A. in History.

Kevin P. Meehan

Kevin Meehan is Chief Operating Officer of Silver Q Partners.  Mr. Meehan began his 20 year finance career with American Express Company.  Mr. Meehan’s investment services career took shape when he joined KPMG Peat Marwick’s investment services consulting practice.  In that capacity, Mr. Meehan provided consulting services to money managers and acquired a wealth of knowledge of the investment management business.
Capitalizing on his experience, Mr. Meehan joined Orbitex Management, Inc. shortly after the business was launched in 1998 as the head of operations.  Moving up the ranks of the organization to the parent company, Mr. Meehan took a more strategic role as he integrated the operations of various subsidiaries, including its money management firms with affiliated broker dealer and other servicing firms to achieve company-wide efficiencies.
Mr. Meehan’s successes resulted in his posting as the President of Gemini Fund Services, LLC, the organization’s fund administration subsidiary.  At Gemini, Mr. Meehan implemented extensive operational and technology changes.  As a result, Gemini is now a successful $9BB enterprise.  With the financial support of the Chairman of Gemini, Mr. Meehan and Mr. Khan formed Silver Leaf Partners in January of 2003 to take their buy-side/sell-side experience to provide sell-side services to the professional investment management community.
Mr. Meehan is a graduate of St. John’s University, with a B.S. in Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. Mr. Meehan holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, and 63 securities licenses.
